My dad was born 97 years ago today...

This is my father, Arthur Aaron, 

at age four, dressed as Little Lord 

Fauntleroy. He was very talented, 

brave and had a good soul. 

He quit smoking when he was 53,
breaking free from a two pack a
day habit and would have been 97
today, but he died of lung cancer
when he was only 56.

He would say, "I've not had 

a cigarette in two years. one 

month and six days...

but who's counting...?"
