Forbes: L.A. Notices That Vaping Looks Like Smoking, So An E-Cigarette Ban Is Imminent

My new favorite writer about the
World of Nicotine, Jacob Sullum,
whom I don't necessarily agree
with...but think his insight and take
on what's going on is brilliant...
He's a contributor to Forbes, and
a Senior Editor at Reason magazine.
This guy is totally on top of it.

Forbes article by Jacob Sullum: More Vaping, More Smoking: The Implausible Case Against E Cigarettes

I have been vocal as to my opinion of
E-Cigarettes. I submit that are truly a
gateway apparatus designed to intrigue
(and reel in) techie youth. The sultry ad
campaigns reinforce this. A most
thoughtful article by Jacob Sullum-

Inspired by the Olympics...what I did instead of smoking

The Olympics inspired me to indulge in
a painting frenzy in February.  Some just
happened; some were commissioned works.
This is what I do with my hands instead
of smoking. Feel free to inquire.

Reuters: CVS becomes the first drug store chain to stop selling cigarettes

This article for Reuters by Phil Wahba
and Julie Steenhuysen explains the
decision by CVS Caremark to stop
selling tobacco products by Oct. 1, 2014.
This is the first retail merchandiser to
take this step. It is expected to cost
CVS over $2 billion in annual sales;
but it is leading the way for other chain
merchandisers, who are also considering
a similar move to make tobacco less
readily available to the public.
