Countries committed to reducing 
smoking are employing what is 
called a Value Added Tax (VAT) 
to increase the price of a tobacco 
product to make it less accessible 
to youth…India is trying to follow 
Australia's lead as the former sees 
its male smoking rate increase 
dramatically over the last ten years…
