TBT The Cocktail Lounge
at the Penn Albert Hotel
where they used to set me
in the middle seat at the
bar when I was four and
serve me Roy Rogers while
the grown ups smoked and
got sloshed. The drunk who
sat next to me powered down
martinis with so many green
olives, I've never been able
to eat them. He said they
were his dinner. I also learned
to work the cigarette machine
so I could get cigarettes for
my uncle. He was lazy.
