In the Durham region northeast
of Toronto, smoking rates far
exceed the Canadian national
average with neighbourhoods
registering 24-34% of adults
over eighteen smoke regularly.
Nationwide, roughly 16% of
Canadians over sixteen smoke
(18% men, 14% women).
According to these findings,
they smoke an awful lot in
Oshawa. These places also
rank dreadfully high in rates
of heart disease and stroke.
Time to send some cessation
assistance their way. Hurry!
